• He needs a short, sharp shock

Work colleague is having a hard time of things atm.

A single mother with kids, her 15 year old son was arrested for theft on Friday (this time it's serious) and went awol for the weekend.

She was with the police at his school on Monday morning when he turned up, as if nothing was wrong.

She says he needs a short sharp shock as she can't cope with him anymore.

I think the same - but more importantly he needs a male role model. Someone he can look up to, and someone he can "bond" with.

It's what's been lacking in his life, and it would make all the difference to the lad.

  • Litter pollution

S & I had a lovely walk yesterday but the beauty of the countryside was blighted in places by the fact that some stupid lifeforms had chucked their rubbish into streams, hedgerows, and grass verges.

Can't these idiots take their crap home with them or throw rubbish away responsibly?

It's worse in town, especially by the river. Crisp packets, drinks cans, take away containers, plastic bags - all chucked into the water or on the river bank.

It's not that the town isn't without rubbish bins - just the fact that the louts can't be arsed to walk to them when they've finished munching and slurping their piggy heads off. (Sorry that's an insult to pigs, which are actually quite clean animals.)

Don't the bastards know that they're spoiling the pleasure of being able to sit by the river, or walk in the countryside for other people.

No - because they are too thick to think and too self centred to bother about the environment.

In fact they're no-brained morons who should be removed from the planet for the benefit of the world.

  • More resources needed

I can understand the need for resources in schools where many children don't speak English as a first language

However, why should it be funded from our education budget?

Surely we should be able to claim costs from the EU seeing as their immigration policy allows people to cross borders to seek work where they like?

Or if people aren't from the EU then the UN should assist, especially if the immigrants are claiming refugee or asylum status.

Better still, if families are planning to move here, why don't they fork out for English langauge lessons BEFORE they come?

  • Grrrrouches and grrripes

We were thinking about Christmas this weekend - it's hard not to when the supermarket is piled high with choccies and booze and crackers etc etc

But do we need it all?

    Nope.

People will load up trolleys and spend more than they can afford, then complain about the expense and the waste and the amount of turkey they've still got to eat.

Why the hell do we do it?

Greed - it's just pure unadulterated greed
